Mariki Advisory (CVR 45838927) is the data controller for personal data processed in connection with this website and our services. Mariki Advisory is based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Questions about this policy can be sent to maris@mariki.co.

What personal data we process

We process personal data you choose to share with us, typically your name, email address, organisation and the content of your correspondence when you contact us by email.

When you visit this website, our hosting provider may automatically record technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, in server logs used to operate and secure the site. This website does not use analytics or marketing cookies.

Why we process it, and on what legal basis

We process correspondence to respond to enquiries and to discuss or deliver our services. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or the steps necessary to enter into or perform a contract with you (GDPR Article 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b)).

Technical data is processed to operate and secure the website, on the basis of our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).

If we work together, we also process information needed for invoicing and bookkeeping, to comply with our legal obligations under Danish law (Article 6(1)(c)).

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We use service providers who process data on our behalf, including our website and email hosting provider, Simply.com. These providers process data only according to our instructions.

Transfers outside the EU/EEA

We do not transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA.

How long we keep it

We keep correspondence for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and any ongoing relationship, and delete it when no longer needed. Accounting records are retained for the period required by Danish bookkeeping law.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; to object to or restrict our processing; and to data portability where applicable. To exercise these rights, contact maris@mariki.co.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), www.datatilsynet.dk.

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies. Fonts and images are served from our own hosting, and no third-party services are loaded.
